Glen Abbey is home to two National USTA Championship teams since 1999!
We are proud of our 1999 Men's USTA 3.0 team and 2009 USTA 14 and under team. How many communities in Atlanta can make that claim?

Glen Abbey has won numerous other City Championships over the year.

Glen Abbey Tennis Etiquette and Guidelines

  • Proper tennis attire is required on the courts.
  • Shirts must be worn.
  • No glassware or food is permitted on the courts.
  • No rollerblading, skateboarding, or bicycling are allowed on the courts or sidewalks.
  • Please turn off the lights when you are finished playing.
  • Be courteous of others while play is in progress. Do not just walk across the courts until the point is finished to retrieve your ball or to go to your court.
  • We are an active recycling community. Please put used balls in the bins meant for balls and cans/bottles/plastic/paper in other recycle bins.
  • Place squeegees in proper place or hang them on the fence. Do NOT lay them on the floor.
  • The court may be reserved only for 2.0 hours.
  • During ALTA and USTA league play times in which the courts are full court #7 will NOT be designated a walk-on court.
  • Court reservations can be made up to 48 hours in advance.
  • Captains of junior and adult teams are responsible for giving Greg their schedules so he can reserve the courts for all home matches.
  • If you wish to be placed on an ALTA or USTA team or move to another team you must fill out a 'Tennis Request Form' and submit it to Greg. This must be done on a season-by-season basis. The form can be downloaded from the web site.
  • There is a $50 fee for non-homeowners playing on any Glen Abbey team or take lessons. This fee is to be made payable to Glen Abbey HOA.
